Quality Assurance Engineer

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Engineer for iSmart Recruit 2.O to ensure the reliability performance and security of our recruitment platform. The ideal candidate will design and execute test strategies develop automation and collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to maintain high-quality releases.

Responsibilities

• Design develop and maintain automated test suites for web API and mobile components.
• Create and execute test plans test cases and test scripts for functional integration performance and security testing.
• Validate RESTful APIs and backend integrations ensuring data integrity and correct business logic implementation.
• Identify document and report defects; work with engineers to prioritize and resolve issues.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and monitor test runs flaky tests and build stability.
• Develop and maintain test data environments and device labs for reliable test execution.
• Collaborate with product owners and developers to define acceptance criteria and improve testability.
• Conduct performance and load testing to identify bottlenecks and recommend optimizations.
• Mentor peers on best practices for testing automation and quality metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• 3 years of experience in software quality assurance with hands-on experience in test automation and API testing.
• Proven experience with test frameworks and tools for web and mobile automation.
• Strong programming or scripting skills to write and maintain automated tests.
• Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines and using containerized environments.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and collaborative workflows.
• Excellent problem-solving skills attention to detail and strong communication abilities.
• Certifications such as ISTQB are a plus.
