Quality Assurance Engineer II, Alexa Kids Experience

To realize our vision of making Alexa a fun supportive and educational companion for kids our team innovates to build unique Alexa features from ground-up and solve a range of machine learning challenges across the Alexa architecture. We leverage generative AI distributed systems knowledge graph and much more to build solutions that scale to millions of devices and customers across the globe.

In this role youll be responsible for quality assurance of new customer features and supporting architecture on a day-to-day and week-to-week basis. Youll learn new in-demand skills like building and testing voice control interfaces and scalable API platforms that will be highly valuable as you grow your career at Amazon and beyond. Youll work directly with Product Management Development team and Design to ensure that Alexa customers will have the best experience for kids and families.

A day in the life
Quality Assurance Engineers are the owner of the features quality. They work with product development and other teams to deliver high quality product to Amazon customers.

- 4 years of quality assurance engineering experience
- Experience in manual testing
- Experience in automation testing
- Experience scripting or coding
- Experience as QA lead on medium to large sized projects

- Experience in gathering test requirements to create detailed test plans and defining quality metrics to measure product quality
