Seeking an experienced Quality Management System (QMS) professional to drive and strengthen organizational quality systems within an automotive manufacturing environment. The role will be responsible for deploying QMS frameworks ensuring compliance with quality standards leading audits managing documentation systems and driving continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing and operational domains.
The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in automotive quality systems auditing methodologies regulatory compliance requirements and manufacturing quality processes particularly within vehicle and powertrain environments.
Responsibilities
Lead Quality Management System (QMS) implementation and governance in alignment with organizational quality policies and industry standards.
Deploy QMS standards across functional domains and ensure training awareness and implementation.
Assess QMS maturity levels through field evaluations and operational assessments.
Identify audit requirements based on customer risks regulatory obligations and business priorities.
Plan and execute annual audit programs including:
Quality Management System Audits (ISO/IATF)
Start of Production (SOP) Readiness Audits
Conformity of Production Audits
Process and Special Audits
Drive closure of audit observations and non-conformities through corrective and preventive action management.
Coordinate with external certification and regulatory bodies for certification audits and compliance activities.
Manage centralized QMS documentation repositories and document control processes.
Facilitate documentation review meetings with cross-functional stakeholders.
Coordinate preparation and submission of periodic QMS performance summaries and management reports.
Support implementation and compliance of Laboratory Management Systems where applicable.
Monitor quality metrics and generate weekly monthly and quarterly quality dashboards.
Promote continuous improvement initiatives and drive quality culture across business functions.
Support organizational transformation initiatives related to quality excellence and operational maturity.
Qualifications
B.E./B. Tech or M.E/ M. Tech in Mechanical Automobile Production and Industrial Engineering

CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions)
