Key Objectives:
Hands-on experience with:
EDW source to target testing (SQL scripting - manual and automation)
Data transformation/manipulation testing (SQL scripting - manual and automation)
Data quality/completeness validation (SQL scripting - manual and automation)
Working knowledge and testing experience of ETL
Experience in running the processes through the scheduler
Quality Assurance Process Improvement and Collaboration:
Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to validate data within on-prem and cloud data warehouses.
Conduct thorough testing of ETL processes dimensional data models and reporting outputs.
Identify document and track data quality issues working closely with data engineers to resolve them.
Validate data loading transformation and aggregation processes.
Ensure data consistency and integrity across different data sources and systems.
Collaborate with the Data Quality and Data Engineering team to define quality benchmarks and metrics.
Continuously improve QA testing strategies and methodologies.
Implement best practices for data validation and error handling.
Assist in the design and implementation of data quality assurance tools and frameworks.
Work closely with BA data architect data engineers QA and stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliverables.
Work closely with the Lead Data QA Engineer to design develop maintain and support testing infrastructure
Provide detailed reports on data quality findings and testing outcomes.
Contribute insights and recommendations to enhance data quality and processing efficiency.
Requirements
Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science or equivalent.
Strong understanding of Data Warehouse & Data Quality fundamentals.
2 to 5 years of experience in data warehouse development/testing.
2 to 5 years of experience with Relational Database and ETL testing
Must be experienced in Data Warehousing Projects with good knowledge of ETL testing.
Strong in SQL RDBMS ETL and DW concepts.
Experience in validating Reports/Dashboards on tools like Tableau MS Power BI etc.
Great attention to detail with a result-driven test approach.
Self-starter; strong drive bias-to-action commitment with solid work ethics
Willingness to take on big challenges and own the results from brainstorming to execution.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Able to influence others effectively.
Willingness to provide off-hour support as needed or on a rotation basis.
Youʼre a Great Fit If You Have:
Minimum 2 to 5 years of Quality Assurance experience (manual/automated testing) with a proven track record of improving Data Quality by implementing QA best practices within organization
Experience with the SSIS & MSSQL is a plus
Experience with the Snowflake and DBT is a plus
Experience in using QA automation tools is a plus
ETL process knowledge; Knowledge of data warehouse testing procedures
Desirable qualifications/pluses:
Knowledge of Insurance Data & its processes
Data validation experience between on-prem & cloud (i.e. hybrid) architecture.
Familiarity with cloud computing and the data ecosystem on Snowflake

Masters Degree preferred. At least 4 years experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs. At least 5 years experience in Service Oriented Architecture/Service integration with Web Services REST and security integration. Skills / Experience / Responsibilities Design develop and implement complex solutions based on Framework 4.5 using C# and . Will work with internal stakeholders to learn the business processes operating systems and application architectures in order to ensure that solutions fit the current or proposed architectural environment. Translate applications requirements into web-based solutions using the recommended frameworks and technology. Design and develop reusable components accelerators and frameworks. Assist in the system integration of components. Implement Test Driven Development frameworks (NUnit xUnit etc.). Implement Design Pattern (Singleton Factory and MVC). Implement Data Structures. Assist in translating customer service marketing & financial business function needs into digitization and automation of technical solutions aligned with organizational goals and strategies. Be a strong team player and effectively participate in projects and daily operational activities
