Job Summary

Looking for an experienced Test Engineer with 4 years of experience in software testing preferably in products involving 3D design CAD workflows or Autodesk ecosystem. The ideal candidate should have strong QA fundamentals domain knowledge in 3D systems and a passion for delivering high-quality software. This role requires collaboration with developers QA engineers and DevOps teams to ensure reliable validation across application layers.

Quality Assurance & Testing

Design develop and execute comprehensive test strategies for web desktop and API-based applications.
Perform functional regression integration and exploratory testing.
Identify test scenarios create test cases and ensure appropriate coverage across features.
Ensure product quality by validating Auto-desk 3D workflows and design processes.

Collaboration & Delivery

Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand Autodesk 3D use cases and workflows.
Participate in requirement reviews and provide QA inputs early in the lifecycle.
Track defects perform root cause analysis and ensure timely closure.
Document test cases test plans and QA processes.

Continuous Improvement

Identify process gaps and suggest improvements in QA practices.
Contribute to improving testing efficiency across the team.
Mentor junior QA engineers and share domain knowledge.

Requirements

Education

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.

Experience

4 years of experience in software testing / QA. Mandatory Skills

Strong understanding of Auto-desk API concepts CAD workflows and Autodesk 3D products.

Experience validating applications involving geometry modeling rendering or visualization workflows.

Solid understanding of QA processes test design techniques and defect lifecycle.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Good to Have (Preferred but NOT mandatory)

Experience in test automation: o Tools: Selenium Playwright Cypress Appium o Frameworks: TestNG JUnit NUnit
Basic scripting/programming knowledge (Java Python JavaScript or C#).
Exposure to API testing tools (Postman RestAssured etc.).
Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins Azure DevOps GitLab CI).
Familiarity with performance testing tools is a plus.
Experience testing desktop applications.

Soft Skills

Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work effectively in Agile/Scrum environments.
Ownership mindset with focus on quality and delivery.
Mentorship experience is an added advantage.

Required Skills:
