QA Automation Engineer

1. Functional & Platform Testing

• Design and execute test cases for Modular MOM platform and business features including configurator services APIs and UI.
  
• Validate single-module and multi-module workflows using integration and end-to-end tests.
  
• Verify metadata-driven behaviors and configuration-based functionality.
  

2. Test Automation (Core Responsibility)

• Develop and maintain automated tests across the test pyramid:
  

• Backend unit tests
  
• Backend component / integration tests
  
• BDD-based API tests
  
• BDD-based UI endtoend tests
  

• Use Gherkin / BDD approach for readable and maintainable tests.
  

3. Integration & System Testing

• Validate inter-module communication and dependencies.
  
• Test platform behavior in deployed Kubernetes environments (dev / preprod).
  
• Ensure backward compatibility and nonregression across releases.
  

4. NonFunctional Testing

• Perform security-focused validation (security hotspots review test coverage).
  
• Support performance reliability and stability testing where required.
  
• Validate cloud-native deployment assumptions and failure scenarios.
  

5. Quality Governance & CI/CD

• Ensure test execution is integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
  
• Monitor quality KPIs (test coverage defects security hotspots).
  
• Participate in code and test reviews with development teams.
  

6. Collaboration & Documentation

• Actively collaborate with:
  

• Developers
  
• Architects
  
• Product Owners
  

• Contribute to test documentation and internal QA guidelines.
  
• Support release validation and go/nogo decisions.
  

Requirements

Technical Skills

• Strong experience in software testing of enterprise or platform products
  
• Experience with:
  

• API testing (REST BDD frameworks)
  
• UI automation testing
  
• Backend/component testing
  

• Familiarity with:
  

• Cloud-native systems
  
• Microservices architecture
  
• Kubernetes-based deployments (basic understanding)
  

Tools & Methodologies

• BDD / Gherkin-based testing
  
• Automated testing frameworks (backend & UI)
  
• CI/CD pipelines
  
• Defect tracking & quality dashboards
