Job Summary
ABC IT Consultants is looking for a skilled and motivated Python Developer to join our growing technology team. The ideal candidate should have strong programming skills in Python experience in developing scalable applications and a good understanding of software development principles.
The candidate will be responsible for designing developing testing and maintaining Python-based applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design develop test and maintain efficient Python applications.
- Write clean reusable scalable and well-documented code.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
- Work with databases such as MySQL PostgreSQL or MongoDB.
- Collaborate with frontend developers QA engineers and other team members.
- Identify troubleshoot and resolve application bugs and performance issues.
- Participate in code reviews and follow software development best practices.
- Optimize application performance reliability and scalability.
- Use version control systems such as Git for code management.
- Prepare technical documentation and contribute to project planning.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies frameworks and Python development practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python programming.
- Good understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts.
- Experience with Python frameworks such as Django Flask or FastAPI.
- Knowledge of REST APIs and web services.
- Experience working with relational or NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with Git and version control workflows.
- Understanding of debugging testing and application optimization.
- Knowledge of HTML CSS and JavaScript is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
