Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Purchase professional with strong expertise in strategic sourcing vendor development procurement planning and commercial negotiations. The role will focus on developing a reliable vendor base while ensuring cost competitiveness quality and timely delivery.
- Manage vendor registration qualification onboarding and development.
- Identify evaluate and develop new vendors based on business requirements.
- Conduct vendor performance evaluation covering quality cost delivery and compliance.
- Drive strategic sourcing across various procurement categories.
- Lead commercial negotiations to achieve competitive pricing and favourable terms.
- Prepare and execute procurement plans based on operational and project requirements.
- Develop alternate sources to reduce supply risks and vendor dependency.
- Drive cost optimization through sourcing negotiation and supplier development.
- Maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and drive continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with Engineering Projects Operations and other stakeholders for procurement requirements.
Experience in sourcing/procurement of:
- Excavators Loaders Dozers Tippers & Dumpers
- Slag Pot Handling Equipment & Grab Buckets
- Conveyors Crushers & Screens
- DG Sets Motors & Pumps
- Fabrication Items
- Electrical Components
- Heavy Machinery Spares & Industrial Consumables
- 8 years of relevant experience in Strategic Procurement / Sourcing / Vendor Management.
- / Diploma in Mechanical or relevant Engineering discipline.
- Strong experience in vendor development sourcing negotiation and procurement planning.
- Good knowledge of cost optimization and supplier performance management.
- Strong analytical communication negotiation and stakeholder-management skills.
