Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Purchase Executive to manage the procurement of raw materials packaging materials engineering items and consumables. The ideal candidate should have experience in pharmaceutical procurement vendor management purchase order processing and coordination with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Procure raw materials packaging materials engineering items and consumables as per business requirements.
- Identify evaluate and develop new vendors while maintaining relationships with existing suppliers.
- Obtain quotations compare prices negotiate commercial terms and finalize purchases.
- Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure timely follow-up for deliveries.
- Coordinate with Production Stores QA/QC and Finance departments to ensure smooth procurement operations.
- Maintain procurement records vendor documentation and purchase reports.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely availability of materials.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with GMP and company policies.
- Resolve supplier-related issues regarding quality delivery and pricing.
Required Skills
- Experience in pharmaceutical procurement.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical raw materials packaging materials GMP and procurement documentation.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/PharmaCloud software.
- Strong negotiation communication and vendor management skills.
- Good analytical organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- 2–3 years of experience in the Purchase department of a pharmaceutical manufacturing company.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with internal teams and suppliers.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
