Proposal & Market Research Coordinator
Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
Market Research & Bid Identification
Identify bidding opportunities from Federal State and Local Government agencies in the US.
Monitor changes in advertisement dates addenda and award notifications; keep CRM/ERP records current and accurate.
Conduct primary and secondary research using data collection methods such as polls focus groups and surveys.
Apply working knowledge of data warehousing and mining to support opportunity tracking and reporting.
Generate weekly/monthly pipeline and research reports; participate in sales/BD meetings.
Apply knowledge of the US Procurement process to prioritize and qualify opportunities.
Proposal Coordination & Writing
Analyze RFP/RFQ documents to understand requirements and formulate clarification questions for clients.
Build compliance matrices and proposal schedules covering the full lifecycle from initiation to delivery.
Write non-technical proposal sections project descriptions resumes team qualifications and management plans.
Coordinate with the Contracts team to ensure financial legal and proposal-form requirements are met per RFQ/RFP guidelines.
Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of all RFQ/RFP requirements.
Produce initial and final proposal drafts with a focus on responsiveness accuracy and clean document layout.
Perform quality checks on final proposal packages ensuring the Three Cs of proposal development: compelling compliant and comprehensive.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree (any discipline); a background in Statistics Marketing or a related field is a plus.
5 years of relevant experience in Presales Business Development Marketing Data Research and/or Proposal Writing.
Prior experience with IT Staffing proposals or bidding opportunities for the US State/County/Federal market is strongly preferred.
Excellent written and spoken English with strong writing and editing skills.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills; comfortable meeting strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong working knowledge of MS Office (Word Excel PowerPoint) and familiarity with CRM/ERP systems.
Good communication and presentation skills with the ability to solve problems quickly.
