Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager / Project Manager with a degree in Architecture () or Civil Engineering (B.E. Civil) and 13-15 years of experience in the planning design execution and management of large-scale residential commercial mixed-use institutional and industrial projects. The candidate will be responsible for coordinating project activities from concept to completion ensuring adherence to timelines budgets quality standards and statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Management
- Assist in the overall planning execution monitoring and closure of construction projects.
- Develop project schedules resource allocation plans and execution strategies.
- Monitor project progress against established milestones and budgets.
- Coordinate with internal teams consultants contractors and clients for seamless project delivery.
- Track project risks and implement mitigation plans to ensure timely completion.
Design & Technical Coordination
- Review architectural and civil drawings for accuracy constructability and compliance.
- Coordinate with structural MEP landscape and interior consultants.
- Ensure design intent is maintained throughout project execution.
- Resolve design and construction-related technical issues.
- Conduct design reviews and value engineering exercises to optimize cost and quality.
Construction & Site Management
- Supervise construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
- Monitor contractor performance and productivity.
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality audits.
- Ensure work is executed according to project schedules and safety standards.
- Review measurement sheets contractor bills and progress reports.
Stakeholder Management
- Liaise with clients architects consultants contractors and government authorities.
- Lead project review meetings and present progress updates to management.
- Manage approvals permits and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure effective communication among all project stakeholders.
Cost & Contract Management
- Assist in budget preparation cost estimation and financial tracking.
- Review BOQs tender documents and contract agreements.
- Monitor project expenditures and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Support procurement planning and vendor management activities.
- Evaluate change orders and variation claims.
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with local building regulations NBC statutory approvals and quality standards.
- Implement quality assurance and quality control procedures.
- Monitor compliance with safety regulations and environmental requirements.
- Participate in project audits and compliance reviews.
Qualifications :
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Architecture () or Civil Engineering (B.E./ Civil).
- 13-15 years of relevant experience in construction project management architecture or civil engineering projects.
- Proven experience managing residential commercial institutional or mixed-use developments.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies project lifecycle management and design coordination.
