Role Description
Job Title: Production Support Engineer
Experience: 2-3 Years
Location: Gurgaon
Employment Type: Full-Time from Office
Job Summary:
We are looking for a Production Support Engineer with 2-3 years of experience to support and maintain production applications monitor system health troubleshoot incidents and ensure smooth business operations. The candidate should have basic understanding of application support SQL monitoring and incident management.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor production applications and respond to alerts/incidents.
Perform issue analysis and troubleshooting for application database and API-related issues.
Coordinate with development infrastructure and business teams for issue resolution.
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and prepare incident reports.
Execute routine health checks and production validations.
Monitor logs using tools such as Splunk Kibana or similar.
Handle tickets through ServiceNow/JIRA or similar tools.
Ensure adherence to SLA and incident management processes.
Technical Skills
Required Skills:
Basic knowledge of SQL and database queries.
Knowledge of REST APIs JSON and API testing tools (Postman).
Understanding production support processes (Incident Problem Change Management).
Good analytical and communication skills.
Experience working in 247 support environment (specially over the weekend ).
Nice-to-have skills
Knowledge of payment systems/APIs.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in computer science IT or related field.
