Data automation Engineer L3
Key Responsibilities:
- Validate business requirements data specifications and technical documentation providing strategic feedback to drive continual improvement and innovation in data delivery.
- Provide the development implementation and continual improvement of data visualization and reporting processes transitioning from manual reporting to automated Power BI and Microsoft Fabric-driven solutions.
- Support the integration and management of data sources leveraging Power BI and Microsoft Fabric to automate data extraction transformation loading and visualization in support of business initiatives.
- Collaborate with lead operational data architects and data analysts to proactively identify data-related challenges and deliver adaptive technology-driven and innovative solutions to business pain points.
- This role covers end-to-end data engineering semantic modeling and reporting delivery in a production-scale environment
- Design and implement Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse architecture using Bronze/Silver/Gold (medallion) patterns
- Build and orchestrate pipelines using Fabric Data Factory
- Model optimized star schemas and design Power BI semantic models
- Apply data quality checks governance standards and documentation/runbooks
- Configure Row-Level Security (RLS) and enterprise security controls
- Manage monitoring alerting and reliability of production workloads
- Support Dev/Test/Prod deployments using Fabric Workspaces and Deployment Pipelines
