Production Planning & Control Engineer

We are Sisco Jobs a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy Tamil Nadu. We are hiring on behalf of our client for the position of Production Planning & Control Engineer in Trichy Tamil Nadu. • Develop and maintain production plans and schedules.
  
• Monitor production performance and improve efficiency.
  
• Coordinate with production procurement engineering and quality teams.
  
• Ensure timely execution of production as per customer requirements.
  
• Maintain production MIS reports and performance dashboards.
  
• Analyze production bottlenecks downtime and scrap recommending corrective actions.
  
• Drive Lean Manufacturing Kaizen and 5S initiatives.
  
• Support inventory planning MRP and project execution activities.
  

• Production Planning Prepare production schedules and work orders.
  
• MRP & Inventory Control Ensure material availability and stock optimization.
  
• Lean Manufacturing Implement Lean Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives.
  
• MIS & Production Reporting Prepare production dashboards and performance reports.
  
• Cross-functional Coordination Work with production procurement engineering and quality teams.
  

• ERP/MRP software knowledge
  
• Project planning and scheduling
  
• Root Cause Analysis & Continuous Improvement
  

Experience requirement is not specified in the job description. Typical: 25 years of experience in Production Planning & Control within a manufacturing environment with exposure to production scheduling inventory management and process improvement.

• Minimum: B.E./ in Mechanical Production Industrial Engineering or related discipline (Typical)
  
• Preferred: Masters degree or relevant production certifications (Typical)
  
• Additional Certifications: Lean Manufacturing Kaizen Six Sigma (Typical)
