Job Summary
Our Client is looking for an experienced Production Head to oversee our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and timely production of high-quality products while maintaining a safe and productive work environment. The Production Head will play a key role in planning coordinating and controlling manufacturing processes to achieve production targets andoptimize resource utilization.
Key Responsibilities:
Job Duties :
1. Production Management: Oversee daily production activities to ensure products are manufactured on schedule within quality standards and cost-effectively.
2. Team Leadership: Manage and lead a team of production supervisors technicians and operators fostering a collaborative and motivated work environment.
3. Quality Control: Implement and maintain rigorous quality control procedures to ensure products meet the required specifications and standards.
4. Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity efficiency and product quality. Utilize Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies where applicable.
5. Resource Management: Optimize the use of materials equipment and labor to achieve production goals. Coordinate with the supply chain and procurement teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components.
6. Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with health safety and environmental regulations. Promote a culture of safety and implement best practices to prevent workplace accidents and injuries.
7. Reporting: Generate and analyze production reports and other metrics to inform decision-making and continuous improvement efforts.
8. Stakeholder Communication: Coll aborate with other departments quality assurance and sales to align production activities with company goals and customer requirements.
9. Coordinate with all departments including Mechanical Electrical Dispatch and Purchase to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

- Proven experience (typically 7 years) in a production management role within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience in managing production and manufacturing processes involving multiple raw materials.
- Willing to work in dusty Environment In-depth knowledge of production processes quality control and safety standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Result Areas (KRA):
The Production Head will ensure efficient and timely production of high-quality products by achieving and maintaining production targets managing and motivating a diverse team and implementing rigorous quality control procedures. They will identify and implement process improvements optimize resource utilization and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Additionally analyse production reports and collaborate with other departments to align production activities with company goals and customer requirements.

Our Client is a joint venture between one of Indias largest AAC block manufacturers with plants across Gujarat and Maharashtra and a combined capacity of over 8 lakh m³ p.a. and a leading international building materials manufacturer known for concrete wall panels and fiber cement products. The JV has set up a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility for ALC panels at Kapadvanj Gujarat.
