Location: Kochi - Kerala

Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering Master’s Degree preferred

Experience: 3 years of experience in Product Validations preferably with power connectors or related electromechanical products

Salary : 7 LPA (Negotiable)

Job Summary:
We are looking for a Product Validation & Qualification Engineer to Power Solutions team.
The role involves validating and qualifying power connector products from prototype stage to product launch. You will work with Design Quality Manufacturing Suppliers Customers and other global teams to ensure products meet required mechanical electrical environmental and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and execute Product Qualification Plans.
- Plan and conduct product validation and qualification tests.
- Ensure compliance with EIA IEC IS and UL standards.
- Design and develop test fixtures and test setups.
- Coordinate testing with internal and external laboratories.
- Ensure all required tests are completed before product release.
- Work with Design and Tooling teams on new components and improvements.
- Conduct and coordinate FAIR reviews for components and finished products.
- Review dimensional deviations with the Design team.
- Identify product design risks and support Design for Testing (DFT) and manufacturability improvements.
- Analyze test results and recommend corrective/design actions.
- Work with suppliers to validate new materials and components.
- Prepare validation and qualification reports.

Skills:
- 3 years of experience in Product Validation/Qualification.
- Experience with power connectors or electromechanical products is preferred.
- Creo CAD – Mandatory.
- Knowledge of Design for Testing (DFT).
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as: Injection molding Stamping Plating Molding Assembly
- Good knowledge of EIA IEC IS and UL standards.
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently.
