**Job Title: Product Manager Cybersecurity - Aerospace**
**Role Overview**
An organization in the aerospace sector is seeking a Product Manager to drive the development and evolution of cybersecurity products. This role involves defining product strategy roadmap and requirements for solutions that protect critical aerospace systems and data. The Product Manager will bridge technical capabilities with market needs ensuring products address the unique security challenges within the aerospace industry.
**Responsibilities**
- Define and articulate the vision strategy and roadmap for cybersecurity products within the aerospace portfolio.
- Conduct market research competitive analysis and gather customer insights to identify opportunities and unmet needs in aerospace cybersecurity.
- Translate complex cybersecurity requirements into clear actionable product specifications user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate closely with engineering design sales marketing and leadership teams throughout the product lifecycle.
- Prioritize product features and enhancements based on strategic goals market demand and technical feasibility.
- Monitor product performance user adoption and market trends to inform iterative product improvements.
- Ensure products comply with relevant aerospace industry standards regulatory requirements and cybersecurity best practices.
- Communicate product updates roadmaps and value propositions to internal and external stakeholders.
- Act as a subject matter expert for the cybersecurity aspects of aerospace products.
**Required Qualifications**
- Bachelors degree (B.A.) in a relevant field such as Computer Science Engineering Business or a related discipline.
- 1-5 years of experience in product management technical product ownership or a similar role.
- Demonstrated understanding of cybersecurity principles technologies and threat landscapes.
- Familiarity with the aerospace industry its operational context or related critical infrastructure sectors.
- Strong analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities with a capacity to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a dynamic environment.
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Masters degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g. PMP CSPO CISSP CISM).
- Direct experience managing cybersecurity products or solutions.
- Knowledge of aerospace specific cybersecurity frameworks or compliance standards (e.g. NIST DO-326A ARP4761).
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Technical background in software development network security or cloud security.
