Prod Compliance Specialist I, Global Product Verification (GPV)

The Global Product Verification (GPV) team is Amazons premier product authentication and verification team protecting marketplace integrity through comprehensive product verification systems. We specialize in seller verification strategic product procurement and implementing comprehensive authentication standards. By focusing on PQ metrics we tackle critical challenges including counterfeit prevention expiration compliance and product condition accuracy. Key job responsibilities
As a GPV Investigator you will be part of a team responsible for inspecting and auditing products sold by third-party sellers on store for various defects impacting Amazons customers. * Conduct product investigations

* Update investigation tracking systems

The role focuses on building expertise in Global Product Verification (GPV) investigation techniques which involves verifying that products meet global quality standards analyzing product deviations conducting product investigations across international markets and contributing to GMP compliance and the overall quality system.

- - 3 years of quality assurance engineering experience or Bachelors degree in engineering statistics computer science operations research business analytics information systems or equivalent
- - Experience using computers and the internet
- - Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite including Word Outlook and Excel
- - Experience working with large datasets determining trends/patterns which can be used for value decisions

- - Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering electrical engineering material science physics or equivalent or Associates degree
- - 2 years of fraud/risk investigations experience
- - 3 years of implementing metric-based strategies utilizing continuous improvement concepts or 2 years of fraud identification and detection investigation and analysis for root causing and providing suitable preventive mechanisms experience
