Procurement Specialist – Coupa Stabilization & Optimization (Team Lead)

About The Job:

• Experience: 58 Years
• Client is seeking a Team Lead for Coupa Stabilization and Optimization to support offshore operations.
• This role will lead end-to-end Coupa operations including supplier enablement catalog management transactional support tactical sourcing invoice optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.
• The position is responsible for driving platform adoption process compliance operational efficiency value realization and automation across procurement operations.

Essential Job Functions:
Supplier Enablement & Master Data Management

• Lead migration and enablement of existing suppliers onto the Coupa platform.
• Review and approve new supplier onboarding requests.
• Maintain supplier master data ensuring accuracy completeness and compliance.
• Manage supplier documentation including insurance banking tax W9 ACH COI 1099 and periodic recertification requirements.

Catalog Enablement & Management

• Review and approve non-catalog requisitions to ensure policy compliance.
• Analyze spend and requisition patterns to identify catalog creation opportunities.
• Drive adoption of preferred suppliers and contracted pricing.
• Manage catalog quality through product updates pricing validations and catalog expansion initiatives.

Coupa Stabilization & Optimization

• Provide Level 1 (L1) support for Coupa users and suppliers.
• Oversee requisition-to-receipt processes ensuring adherence to procurement policies.
• Manage transactional exceptions including 3-way match discrepancies and tolerance failures.
• Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for process automation and optimization.
• Collaborate with L2 support teams for issue escalation root cause analysis and resolution.
• Support platform releases upgrades testing and validation activities.
• Enhance training materials and user documentation based on business feedback and system changes.

Tactical Sourcing & Spot Buying

• Execute competitive sourcing events using Coupa Sourcing modules.
• Analyze supplier responses and provide recommendations.
• Train and support users on sourcing processes and best practices.

Contract Operationalization

• Ensure contracts are effectively operationalized within Coupa.
• Validate and maintain contract pricing and compliance information.

Invoice & Payment Optimization

• Manage invoice exceptions and drive timely resolution.
• Standardize and enforce supplier payment terms.
• Drive payment optimization and working capital improvement initiatives.
• Lead supplier transition to e-invoicing processes.
• Monitor and resolve Coupa Spend Guard alerts to prevent duplicate payments fraud and leakage.

Team Leadership & Governance

• Lead offshore procurement operations teams and ensure SLA adherence.
• Track analyze and report operational KPIs and performance metrics.
• Drive continuous improvement and digital transformation initiatives.
• Ensure delivery excellence and stakeholder satisfaction.

Qualifications:
Required Skills & Experience

• 58 years of experience in Procurement Operations P2P/R2P processes or Coupa Support.
• Strong hands-on experience with Coupa Procurement Invoicing and Sourcing modules.
• Deep understanding of the end-to-end procurement lifecycle including sourcing contracting purchasing invoicing and payments.
• Experience in supplier enablement supplier onboarding catalog management and master data governance.
• Proven experience handling transactional exceptions and driving process improvement initiatives.
• Strong analytical reporting and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience leading teams or managing offshore delivery operations.
• Ability to identify and implement automation and digital transformation opportunities.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office tools.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Education

• Bachelors Degree in Business Supply Chain Finance Operations or a related discipline.
