For oil & gas development acquisition and divestment projects SBD is accountable for coordinating all marketing and midstream deliverables including commercial analysis mid- and downstream architecture MMP negotiated agreements optimal commodity route to market and value India it includes originating crude LPG and LNG sales transactions as well as negotiating access to midstream/downstream infrastructure.
As a senior business development professional you will be responsible for executing Equinors commercialization strategy in India with accountability of managing existing customer relationship and developing new ones.
Reporting to the Country Manager in India you will you will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment prioritization and delivery of commercial activities across the value chain.
Within this position your key tasks will be to:
Identify assess and execute organic business development opportunities.
Perform commercial analysis across Power Gas Liquids CCS and Hydrogen value chains.
Track and interpret market fundamentals regulatory changes and pricing developments across commodities.
Apply analytical frameworks quantitative evaluations and scenario-based decision making to deal structures.
Develop evaluate and present robust business cases to support investment and commercial decisions.
Support negotiations of sales andpurchaseagreements with strong understanding of deal structures pricing mechanisms and contractual risk.
Build andmaintaineffective relationships with partners customers regulators and internal stakeholders.
Drive alignment and collaboration across commercial trading operations legal and risk functions to enable effective decision making.
Leverage knowledge of global energy markets emerging value chains (CCS hydrogen renewables) commodity trading interfaces and commercial asset optimization while contributing to team capability building and knowledge sharing.

Relevant degree in Business EconomicsEngineeringor equivalent.
Minimum 8 years of experience in the oil and gas industry (preferably within the Indian market) in commercial / sales & marketing / deal structuring roles.
Proven leadership ability to manage complex deliverables across multiple stakeholders.
Strong negotiation experience and stakeholder management capabilities.
Ability torepresentboth the team and Equinor in an external industry capacity.
Entrepreneurial mindset.
Fluency inHindiand English.
