Job Description:

We are seeking a visionary and highly experienced Ansible Automation Architect to design drive and scale our enterprise automation this role you will be the core architect responsible for transforming our infrastructure network and application deployment pipelines into highly efficient automated workflows. You will lead the transition from tactical scripting to an enterprise-grade Automation-as-a-Service model using Ansible Automation Platform (AAP).
Key Responsibilities:
Architecture & Strategy
Design and implement scalable secure and high-availability topologies for Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) across multi-cloud and on-premises environments.
Define enterprise automation standards coding guidelines and best practices for Ansible Playbooks Roles Modules and Collections.
Architect seamlessly integrated workflows bridging Ansible with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins GitLab CI GitHub Actions) ITSM platforms (ServiceNow) and secret management systems (HashiCorp Vault).
Execution & Governance
Develop foundational governance frameworks including role-based access control (RBAC) execution environments and automated testing patterns (Ansible-Lint Molecule) for automation code.
Build custom Ansible modules or plugins in Python when native collections do not meet architectural requirements.
Optimize execution performance and resource utilization across massive distributed inventory landscapes.
Leadership & Collaboration
Act as the primary Subject Matter Expert (SME) mentoring engineering teams and evangelizing an automation-first culture across the organization.
Collaborate with Security Compliance and Cloud teams to embed automated security policies patch management and compliance checks into the core configuration pipelines.

Technical Skills:
Ansible Mastery: Expert-level depth in Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform (AAP 2.x) Automation Controller Execution Environments and Automation Hub.
Core Languages: Strong proficiency in Python for building custom extensions along with advanced YAML structures Jinja2 templating and regular expressions.
Infrastructure & Cloud: Deep experience managing Linux/Windows environments virtualization (VMware) and major public clouds (AWS Azure or GCP).
CI/CD & DevOps: Hands-on command over Git workflows (GitOps) container technologies (Docker Podman) and pipeline orchestration tools.
System Integration: Solid grasp of REST APIs webhooks and modern microservices architectures.
Experience & Qualifications
Total Experience: 10 years in IT Infrastructure DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
on-premises or hybrid infrastructure environment
Architect Experience: 3 years specifically focused on architecting and scaling enterprise-wide automation solutions using Ansible.
Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
Preferred Certifications: Red Hat Certified Specialist in Ansible Automation or Red Hat Certified Architect (RHCA).
