What you will be doing
Advising and assisting various domestic as well as multi-national mergers and acquisitions.
Advising on substantial acquisitions
Assisting in transaction structuring; Structuring drafting and vetting of transaction documents and negotiation;
Conducting legal due diligence on the target companies/vendor due diligences representing the companies
Providing opinions on foreign direct investment/overseas direct investment issues/ share transfer issues involving non-resident entities
Advising various Indian and foreign entity collaborators in relation to joint ventures transactions including drafting and negotiation of the transaction documents setting up of the JVC regulatory applications/ filings advising on issues etc.
Experience in general Corporate Advisory and Commercial Contracting

What do we expect
Must have relevant prior experience in M&A practice area with large corporates; Product company experience is preferred. 8-10 years of relevant experience.
Must be abreast with industry M&A trends and best practices
Informed on current and developing legislation governing mergers and acquisitions within the businesss jurisdiction ensuring that all of the businesss M&A initiatives are within the confines of the law.
