We are seeking a highly experienced Power Platform Technical Advisor to provide strategic and technical guidance across an enterprise Microsoft Power Platform environment. This role will serve as an embedded advisor supporting governance architecture DevOps citizen development initiatives and AI/Copilot adoption within a rapidly evolving low-code/no-code ecosystem.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on architect and trusted advisor who can help mature and scale a complex Power Platform footprint while enabling business teams to build securely and effectively.
This is a part-time engagement estimated at approximately 20 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
Provide architecture guidance and best practices across the enterprise Power Platform environment including Power Apps Power Automate Dataverse and related Microsoft technologies
Advise on environment strategy governance models and migration from default to managed environments
Design and enforce platform guardrails governance standards and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies
Support secrets management and security best practices across Power Platform and Azure integrations
Establish and improve Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) processes and DevOps pipeline hygiene for low-code/no-code solutions
Guide CI/CD strategy and deployment best practices using Power Platform Pipelines Azure DevOps and managed solutions
Partner with internal teams and citizen developers to enable scalable and compliant solution development
Provide mentoring technical enablement and governance guidance to citizen developer communities
Support Dataverse configuration data modeling security roles and data management strategies
Advise on Microsoft Copilot AI Builder and emerging AI capabilities within the Microsoft ecosystem
Act as a trusted SME and strategic advisor for ongoing Power Platform initiatives and roadmap planning
Required Qualifications
7 years of experience within the Microsoft ecosystem including Power Platform and Azure
Strong hands-on experience with:
Power Apps
Power Automate
Dataverse
Microsoft 365
Azure services and integrations
Proven experience designing enterprise-scale Power Platform governance and architecture strategies
Strong understanding of ALM DevOps CI/CD and managed solution deployment practices for Power Platform
Experience implementing DLP policies environment strategies and platform security controls
Experience supporting or enabling citizen developer programs within enterprise organizations
Familiarity with Copilot AI Builder and Microsoft AI capabilities
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to advise both technical and non-technical teams
Ability to operate independently as a consultative technical advisor
Must be available to support and collaborate during US business hours/time zones
Preferred Qualifications
Microsoft Power Platform certifications
Experience with Power Platform CoE (Center of Excellence) toolkit
Experience integrating Power Platform with Azure services and enterprise systems
Consulting or enterprise advisory background preferred
