Position Name: Portfolio Success Manager Venture Partner and Sprint Excellence
Reports To: Head of Portfolio Success
Location: Delhi NCR (preferred); open to other locations
Role Overview:
This role makes sure companies in our accelerator program get real lasting value from the support they receive. Each company is paired with a Venture Partner (VP) a dedicated advisor who works with them for 1215 months guiding them through their growth journey. This role owns that relationship: making sure VP calls happen on schedule cover the right ground and most importantly actually lead to change inside the company.
It also plays an active part in Sprint a focused 90-day period of hands-on support that companies go through early in the program not just tracking whether its on schedule but assessing whether its genuinely delivering value and stepping in when it isnt.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the Venture Partner Relationship
Make sure every company has an active engaged VP throughout their 1215 month journey with us.
Track that a new companys first two calls with their VP happen on time and result in a clear plan for what the company needs to work on.
Review that plan for quality and confirm the company is on board with it.
Track Calls & Follow-Through
Make sure VPs check in with companies at the mid-point and end of each work cycle and that these calls are properly documented.
Ensure regular check-in calls are happening in between.
Check whether companies are actually acting on what the VP recommends this is the real measure of whether the relationship is working.
Manage Feedback
Regularly ask companies how their VP relationship is going.
If something isnt working raise it with the VP directly and help course correct.
Be the first point of contact if a company or VP needs something to change.
Drive Sprint Excellence
Keep an eye on whether a companys first support sprint is on track and finishing on time.
Go beyond paperwork: assess whether the sprint is genuinely helping the company make progress not just hitting scheduled milestones.
Flag quality issues or a sprint thats off-track to the assigned expert or the Head of Portfolio Success and help course correct.
Make sure basic sprint paperwork like the kickoff document is completed.
Feed sprint details like hiring numbers or funding raised into shared reports.
Keep Records & Reporting
Maintain simple accurate dashboards tracking VP calls and sprint status for every company.
Flag any issues or bottlenecks to the Head of Portfolio Success.
Key Outcomes:
Onboarding calls with new companies completed with a plan the company agrees to.
Mid-point and closing calls completed and documented every cycle.
Regular check-in calls happening and tracked.
Companies acting on what their VP recommends.
Feedback collected and relationship issues resolved.
Sprint paperwork and timelines on track.
Sprint quality and value assessed with issues flagged and addressed.
Company data hiring funding next steps accurate and up to date.
Qualifications & Experience:
58 years in program management client success or relationship management; startup impact or development sector experience preferred.
Comfortable managing long ongoing relationships (12 months) not just short projects.
Experience working with external advisors consultants or mentors.
Good at judging whether a conversation or piece of delivery work is actually landing and coaching people to improve it.
Comfortable with dashboards and tracking tools.
Strong communicator equally comfortable with founders and senior advisors.
Organized detail-oriented and comfortable with a role that will evolve as the team grows.
