Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Plumber with 45 years of hands-on plumbing work experience. The candidate should be able to handle plumbing installation repair maintenance and troubleshooting work independently. Preference will be given to local candidates from Mohali or nearby areas and candidates who have completed ITI in Plumbing or a related trade.
Key Responsibilities
- Install repair and maintain water supply lines drainage lines sanitary fittings and plumbing fixtures.
- Handle plumbing work for washrooms kitchens pantry areas utility areas and common facilities.
- Check and repair leakages in pipes taps valves flush tanks wash basins and other plumbing systems.
- Perform regular inspection of plumbing systems to ensure proper functioning.
- Maintain and repair water pumps overhead tanks underground tanks and related pipeline connections.
- Clear blockages in drainage lines sewage lines sinks toilets and floor traps.
- Install and maintain CP fittings PVC UPVC GI PPR and other plumbing pipes as required.
- Coordinate with maintenance/site team for daily plumbing complaints and repair work.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned plumbing tasks.
- Follow safety procedures while handling plumbing tools machines and repair work.
- Maintain proper tools materials and plumbing inventory.
- Report major plumbing issues material requirements and repair updates to the supervisor.
- Support other maintenance activities whenever required.
Requirements
Required Skills
- Good practical knowledge of plumbing installation and repair work.
- Ability to identify and fix leakages blockages and pipeline issues.
- Knowledge of plumbing tools fittings valves pipes and sanitary fixtures.
- Basic understanding of water supply and drainage systems.
- Ability to work independently and handle daily maintenance complaints.
- Should be punctual responsible and physically fit for field work.
- Local candidate from Mohali / nearby area preferred.
Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum 45 years of relevant plumbing experience.
- ITI in Plumbing / relevant technical trade preferred.
- Must have hands-on practical plumbing experience.
- Candidate should be local or willing to work in Mohali.
- Prior experience in commercial buildings residential projects offices hotels or maintenance work will be preferred.
