Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
- Develop Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) for construction projects.
- Prepare baseline schedules recovery plans and revised project schedules.
- Monitor daily weekly and monthly project progress against approved schedules.
- Identify schedule delays critical path activities and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare look-ahead schedules (weekly and monthly).
- Coordinate with Project Managers Site Engineers Procurement and QA/QC teams for project planning and execution.
- Monitor manpower material machinery and equipment deployment.
- Prepare Daily Progress Reports (DPR) Weekly Progress Reports (WPR) and Monthly Progress Reports (MPR).
- Track project productivity and resource utilization.
- Conduct project delay analysis and prepare mitigation plans.
- Monitor project cash flow and construction milestones.
- Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely material delivery.
- Prepare project dashboards S-curves histograms and Earned Value reports.
- Maintain planning documentation and project records.
- Prepare detailed rate analysis for civil construction activities.
- Analyze labour material machinery and subcontractor costs.
- Prepare cost estimates for variations and additional works.
- Compare actual costs with budgeted costs and identify variances.
- Evaluate subcontractor quotations and recommend cost-effective solutions.
- Support the tendering team in preparing BOQs and cost estimates.
- Review market rates of construction materials and labour.
- Prepare quantity take-offs from drawings.
- Assist in budget preparation and cost control throughout the project lifecycle
