We are looking for a Placement Success Management Head who will take complete ownership of placement readiness across all campuses.
The person will ensure that students are properly prepared for jobs through interview preparation resume building career guidance and structured placement support.
The role will also involve identifying students based on their placement readiness providing the right level of support to each group and ensuring that the same quality of placement support is delivered across all campuses.
The PSM Head will lead a team of approximately 40 Placement Success Executives working across different campuses and will be responsible for the overall performance and outcomes of the function.
- Build and own the overall placement-readiness strategy across all campuses.
- Develop structured programs for interview preparation resume building and career readiness.
- Ensure students receive consistent placement support across campuses.
- Create a process to assess the placement readiness of students.
- Categorize students into Top Average and Bottom quartiles based on their readiness.
- Identify students who need additional support instead of waiting for them to be flagged as struggling.
- Design different support plans based on student readiness levels.
- Give additional attention to average and bottom-quartile students while continuing to support top performers.
- Track improvement in student readiness and placement outcomes.
- Lead and manage a distributed team of approximately 40 PSM Executives across campuses.
- Hire train coach and manage the performance of the team.
- Set clear targets SLAs and performance standards.
- Ensure effective execution of placement programs at the campus level.
- Create standardized processes for interview preparation and resume reviews.
- Build SOPs trackers SLAs and quality standards.
- Ensure these processes are consistently followed across all campuses.
- Track placement-readiness coverage and student segmentation.
- Monitor tier-wise student improvement and placement outcomes.
- Prepare regular reports and dashboards for leadership.
- Use data to identify gaps and improve placement-readiness programs.
- Work closely with Co-Curricular/GRIT Student Relationship and University Partnerships teams.
- Coordinate with different stakeholders to ensure students are placement-ready on time.
Success in this role will be measured through:
- Placement-readiness coverage – Percentage of eligible students receiving interview preparation and resume-building support.
- Student segmentation – Percentage of students assessed and categorized based on placement readiness.
- Tier-wise outcomes – Improvement in readiness and placement outcomes across different student groups.
- Team performance – PSM Executives consistently meeting defined SLAs and targets.
- Process adoption – Consistent implementation of placement-readiness standards across all campuses.
We are looking for a senior professional with experience in placement career services campus recruitment student outcomes or a similar function.
The ideal candidate should have:
- Experience managing placement or career-readiness programs at scale.
- Experience in EdTech bootcamps upskilling campus recruitment staffing RPO recruitment consulting or career coaching.
- Experience building or improving interview preparation resume coaching or career-readiness programs.
- Experience managing a large distributed team preferably 30–40 people.
- Strong understanding of student/candidate placement and recruitment processes.
- Strong data and analytical skills with the ability to track outcomes and improve performance.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to build processes SOPs SLAs and performance trackers.
- Ability to work with senior leadership and multiple cross-functional teams.

- Career Coaching / Recruitment Platforms – Leadership roles focused on interview preparation resume building and candidate outcomes.

The compensation is aligned with the organization's compensation band for this role and may be finalized based on experience and suitability.
This is a function leadership role where you will have the opportunity to build and scale the placement-readiness function across multiple campuses lead a large on-ground team and directly contribute to improving student placement outcomes.
