Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Design plan and deliver engaging English language lessons for senior classes (Class 1112) in line with IB/CBSE/ICSEor relevant curriculam.
- Foster critical thinking analytical reading and effective communication through interactive activities debates and projects.
- Encourage experiential learning by integrating realworld contexts multimedia resources and interdisciplinary projects.
- Assess student performance through formative and summative evaluations provide timely feedback and maintain accurate academic records.
- Mentor students for competitive examinations (e.g. JEE NEET Olympiads) and support their overall personality development.
- Collaborate with fellow faculty members to develop crosssubject initiatives extracurricular clubs and school events.
- Participate in continuous professional development programs faculty meetings and curriculum review sessions.
- Uphold the schools ethos of curiosity questioning and holistic growth in every classroom interaction.
Essential Qualifications
- PostGraduate degree (M.A. or .) in English Literature Linguistics or a related discipline.
- Eligibility for the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) certification for PGT level.
- Proficiency in English language (both spoken and written) with a strong command over grammar literature and contemporary writing styles.
- Demonstrated ability to use modern pedagogical tools and digital platforms for teaching.
Desired Experience
- Minimum 23 years of teaching experience at the senior secondary level (Class 1112) in a reputable school.
- Experience in integrating experiential and projectbased learning approaches.
- Track record of preparing students for board examinations and competitive tests with measurable success.
- Active participation in literary events workshops or conferences is an added advantage.
