Payment Operations Associate, Data Operations
Job Summary
The Opportunity :
Flywire is seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Payment Operations Associate Data Operations to serve as the founding member of our new Bangalore team. As our first hire in this region you will play a pivotal role in scaling our payment architecture ensuring the flawless execution of high-volume international and domestic transactions.
This isnt just about managing dataits about owning the integrity of our payment ecosystem. You will act as the bridge between global banking partners compliance teams and our users driving efficiency and minimizing friction in a fast-paced fintech environment.
Responsibilities:
- Helping to successfully process growing volume of international and domestic payments
- Verify beneficiary account details to ensure they are accurate and adhere to AML regulations and internal policies
- Working closely with payment partners and banks to identify and resolve payment issues promptly
- Identify and report processing inefficiencies and help to resolve
- Review improve and maintain payment formatting rules to reduce payment issues
- Work closely with Compliance team to review and improve internal policies to reduce friction in the AML process
- Communicate with payers directly via email and call to resolve issues and prevent delays
Qualifications :
Heres What Were Looking For:
- Undergraduate Degree along with an interest in financial services or operations
- Deadline focussed with strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Fluent English and Spanish written and spoken other languages are an advantage
- Possess a willingness and eagerness to learn
- Ability to work independently and drive projects to completion in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent analytical and computer skills including proficiency in Excel and other online tools (Google Apps etc.)
- Passion for problem solving and helping customers
- Highly effective communication skills
- A positive can-do attitude motivated to drive ongoing continuous improvement
- Experience in finance banking operations or transactional reconciliation is an advantage
