Job Summary
Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Specialist
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Specialist to lead the design development and
optimization of Oracle Integration Cloud solutions for Oracle Fusion Cloud (OFC). This role will serve as the team's
OIC Subject Matter Expert (SME) focusing on adapter configuration integration flow development scheduled batch
processing and event-driven integrations. Working closely with the Integration Engineer and under the guidance of
the Onshore Integration Lead the OIC Specialist will ensure reliable scalable and best-practice integration solutions
across Oracle Fusion modules and Azure-based platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Design develop and maintain Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) integration flows using Oracle Fusion Cloud
adapters for PPM Financials SCM and HCM.
Configure and optimize scheduled batch integrations for incremental (delta) data synchronization between
Oracle Fusion Cloud and Azure SQL.
Develop event-driven integrations for real-time transaction processing and data synchronization.
Design validate and maintain Oracle transaction payloads to ensure compliance with functional requirements
before development.
Implement robust exception handling retry mechanisms reconciliation processes and fault recovery within
OIC integrations.
Act as the primary OIC Subject Matter Expert providing guidance on adapter capabilities integration
architecture Oracle APIs and implementation best practices.
Recommend the appropriate Oracle integration approach including OIC adapters REST/SOAP APIs FBDI
ESS jobs BICC extracts and other Oracle-native integration methods.
Validate mappings payload structures and integration logic against approved functional specifications
business rules and data contracts.
Collaborate with development teams using Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines and participate in code reviews
and deployment activities.
Monitor production integrations troubleshoot issues and provide support during go-live and post-
implementation hypercare.
Create technical documentation operational runbooks and deployment guidelines for ongoing support.
Required Skills & Experience
58 years of Oracle integration experience including a minimum of 3 years of hands-on Oracle Integration
Cloud (OIC) development.
Strong expertise in Oracle Fusion Cloud adapters across PPM Financials (AP AR GL) SCM and HCM.
Extensive experience designing scheduled batch integrations and event-driven OIC orchestration flows.
Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion REST and SOAP APIs.
Experience validating Oracle transaction payloads and implementing data transformation and mapping
strategies.
Strong knowledge of OIC orchestration mappings lookups schedules connections monitoring deployment
and fault handling.
Experience implementing retry logic reconciliation processes dead-letter handling message replay and
integration monitoring.
Familiarity with Oracle ERP integration methods including FBDI ERP Integrations REST Services ESS
jobs and bulk data processing.
Good understanding of BICC extraction patterns and selecting the appropriate integration approach for high-
volume data movement.
Experience using AI-assisted development tools for integration design payload mapping and productivity
improvements.
Strong written and verbal English communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with
distributed teams.
Experience working with Azure DevOps and CI/CD deployment practices.
Preferred Qualifications
Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Certification.
Experience integrating Oracle Fusion Cloud with third-party applications such as DocuSign Workday
Concur or similar enterprise platforms.
Familiarity with Azure API Management (APIM) and Azure Service Bus within hybrid Oracle-Azure
integration environments.
Experience supporting production integrations incident management monitoring and operational support.
