Job Summary - Oracle Cloud OTL (Time & Labor) and Absence Management Consultant

Location – Bangalore

Experience -9–12 years (Hybrid 3 days work from office)

Oracle Cloud OTL (Time & Labor) and Absence Management Consultant with strong functional and technical expertise in Oracle HCM Cloud. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in US-based implementations and support projects working as a primary resource responsible for delivering end-to-end solutions in Time & Labor and Absence modules.

This role requires a deep understanding of business processes configuration fast formulas reporting and production support along with the ability to interact with stakeholders and drive successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute Oracle Cloud Time & Labor (OTL) and Absence Management implementations and support engagements
  • Act as the primary functional consultant for OTL and Absence modules in both implementation and support projects
  • Gather analyze and document business requirements and translate them into system configurations
  • Configure and manage:
    • Time entry rules time calculation rules and approval workflows
    • Absence plans accruals eligibility profiles and absence types
  • Develop and maintain Fast Formulas for OTL and Absence use cases
  • Design and generate BI Publisher (BIP) reports for business and compliance needs
  • Perform unit testing SIT and UAT support including defect resolution
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in production environments
  • Provide post-go-live support and continuous improvements
  • Create and maintain functional documentation including configuration documents test scripts and user guides
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Payroll Benefits and HR

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 7–10 years of experience in Oracle HCM with strong focus on: Oracle Time & Labor (OTL) and Oracle Absence Management
  • 2 US Implementation projects as a primary resource handling OTL & Absence
  • 3 US Support projects as a primary support consultant

Strong expertise in:

  • OTL and Absence configurations
  • Fast Formula development (Time & Labor and Absence)
  • BI Publisher (BIP) report creation and customization
  • Good understanding of US business processes compliance and labor laws related to time and absence
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
