Operator Technology Support

Position Summary:

Responsible for remote monitoring and control of the global fleet of Fuel Cell Plants from the Remote Monitoring and Command Center in India

Essential Functions:

• Remote Monitoring and Control of the Fuel Cell Plants
• Work in 8-hour shifts - either during the day or night
• Communicate & Support Field Service Engineers during commissioning troubleshooting etc and Product Quality testing team
• Escalate failures per established procedure
• Perform other duties as assigned

Skills Required:

• Good at Diploma subject fundamentals
• Basic understanding of working safely with fuels (methane propane etc.) and high temperature applications
• Basic knowledge of mechanical systems piping plumbing valves and valve operation
• Experience in basic Software such as Windows OS MS-Office
• Good communication skills (written & verbal)

Additional Skills / Knowledge Preferred:

• Knowledge of DCS / SCADA environment is preferred in case of experienced candidate

Education:

• Polytechnic diploma in Chemical / Mechanical / Energy Systems Engineering/ Electrical

Experience: 0 - 2 years related experience in the above mentioned field

Reports To: Technology Support Manager in India
