Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Operations Executive to join our Supply Chain department. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role with a strong understanding of supply chain operations. The Operations Executive will be responsible for overseeing and managing various aspects of our supply chain ensuring smooth operations and efficient delivery of products and services.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize supply chain operations including inventory management procurement and logistics.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination between departments.
- Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors negotiating contracts and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.
- Oversee the planning and execution of production schedules ensuring on-time delivery and efficient use of resources.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
- Train and mentor junior staff members providing guidance and support to ensure their professional development.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices implementing innovative solutions to drive continuous improvement.
Inbound & GRN Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end inbound operations including shipment planning dock scheduling and unloading processes.
- Ensure timely and accurate Goods Receipt Note (GRN) creation in the system for all inbound shipments.
- Verify received materials against purchase orders invoices and delivery challans to ensure quantity and quality accuracy.
- Coordinate with procurement and vendors to resolve discrepancies in received goods (shortage excess or damage).
- Monitor inbound TAT and ensure adherence to defined SLAs for unloading and GRN closure.
- Maintain proper documentation and records of all inbound transactions for audit and compliance purposes.
- Ensure proper labeling segregation and put-away of received inventory as per warehouse standards.
- Conduct periodic inbound audits to ensure process adherence and inventory accuracy.
- Work closely with warehouse and quality teams for inspection and acceptance/rejection of materials.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role preferably in the supply chain industry.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain operations including inventory management procurement and logistics.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve operational issues.
- Proficient in using supply chain management software and tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
