Network Support Engineers

Job Title: Network & Security Engineer - L2

Job Summary:
We are looking for a Network & Security Engineer - L2 to support manage and secure enterprise network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with network security technologies firewall management vulnerability assessment and troubleshooting across diverse IT environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform network vulnerability assessments and identify security risks.
• Diagnose troubleshoot and resolve network and information security issues.
• Configure manage and maintain enterprise firewalls and security gateway devices.
• Develop and implement network security policies and best practices.
• Monitor security events audit logs and respond to suspicious activities.
• Prepare assessment reports with findings recommendations and remediation plans.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for network and security infrastructure.
• Support LAN/WAN infrastructure and ensure secure network connectivity.
• Work with cross-functional teams to resolve customer issues and escalate when required.
• Communicate technical issues and recommendations clearly to internal teams and stakeholders.

Required Skills:

• Experience with enterprise firewalls such as Sophos Fortinet or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of LAN/WAN networking concepts.
• Knowledge of Application Firewalls SIEM IDS/IPS technologies.
• Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Good analytical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
• Relevant networking or security certifications are an added advantage.
• Experience in enterprise network and security operations is preferred.
