Network Engineer

Client is seeking a Network Engineer who is able to independently design implement and troubleshoot complex network solutions. This role supports enterprise environments and contributes to planning performance optimization and secure configuration of systems while mentoring junior team members and contributing to strategic initiatives.

• Design and implement network solutions within a complex infrastructure
• Administer network services and ensure optimal performance
• Analyze debug and resolve network traffic and connectivity issues
• Evaluate and integrate new technologies into the environment
• Document technical processes and infrastructure changes
• Provide support during network-related incidents and upgrades
• Ensure security compliance and maintain documentation standards
• Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation

• Typically requires a Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or related field and a minimum of 5 years of related experience; or an advanced degree with 3 years of experience; or equivalent related work experience

• Advanced knowledge of routing switching firewalls and VPN technologies
• Experience with Cisco ASA Firewalls load balancers (F5 A10) and cloud networks
• Expert understanding of core networking technologies including: BGP EIGRP Cisco routing and switching infrastructure (IOS/ IOSXE / NXOS / ACI)
• Strong diagnostic and log analysis skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-pressure environment
• Effective communicator with cross-functional teams
• Documentation and procedural development experience
• Certifications such as CCNA CCNP or equivalent highly preferred
