Job Summary
Job Title : National Sales Manager
Experience : 12 to 15 Years
Location : Mumbai
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and execute category growth strategies to drive revenue margins and market penetration.
- Identify and scale high-potential pharma categories therapies and product segments.
- Lead assortment and portfolio management including SKU selection launches rationalization and lifecycle management.
- Manage relationships with manufacturers super-stockists distributors and authorized suppliers.
- Negotiate pricing margins rebates credit terms returns MOQs and service levels.
- Drive pricing promotions trade schemes and profitability across categories.
- Partner with Supply Chain to ensure product availability demand planning inventory optimization and expiry management.
- Ensure compliance with pharma distribution documentation sourcing batch traceability storage and recall requirements.
- Collaborate with Sales Marketing Product Operations Finance Supply Chain and Customer Support teams.
- Provide sales teams with pricing product competitive and promotional insights.
- Work with Product/Technology teams to improve product visibility searchability content and conversion.
- Track category performance through revenue margins fill rate returns inventory turns conversion and expiry loss.
- Use data and market insights to drive continuous improvement in assortment pricing promotions and availability.
Requisites
- Strong experience in Pharma Sales Category Management or Business Development.
- Proven experience managing national-level sales/category operations.
- Strong knowledge of pharma products distribution channels and market dynamics.
- Experience managing manufacturers distributors stockists and key business partners.
- Strong skills in commercial negotiations pricing margins and profitability management.
- Understanding of demand planning inventory management product availability and expiry control.
- Knowledge of pharma compliance batch traceability sourcing storage and recall processes.
- Strong analytical strategic negotiation leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and drive business growth.
