Role & Responsibilities

• Handled large database estates and managed TB size of databases

• Install configure and administer the SQL Server enterprise ofR2 on Windows server

Plan and execute upgrades migrations and patching with minimal downtime

• Manage large-scale (TB) database estates with high availability requirements

• Define and enforce configuration capacity and lifecycle standards.

• Perform deep performance analysis using wait stats Query Store execution plans

• Diagnose memory IO TempDB and concurrency issues

• Install and configure database monitoring tools

• Database refresh (Prod to Dev QA)

• Database auditing and compliance

• Plan the instance upgrade migration and patching

• Define backup and restore strategy

• Proactively analysis the performance and tuning recommendation.

• Database Environment Technical Assessment & Gap Analysis remediation.

• Database In place side by side upgrade Cross DB & Cloud Migrations planning Implementation & post migration troubleshooting

• Implement and troubleshoot DTS packages

• SSIS & SSRS configuration & advance troubleshooting.

• Experience in application DBA support and deployment activities

• Design setup and configure load balancing on clusters

• Develop database re-usable components

• Database disaster recovery (DR) strategy like AOAG/mirroring / log shipping / replication configuration & troubleshooting

• Develop data purging archival management methods and best practices

• OS level activities related to database tasks and windows administration

• Coordinate and work with vendors for bug fixes and major incident resolution

• Primarily role is supporting the production and non-prod database environments

• Provide 24x7 and on call support for critical application databases

• Cloud:-

• L1/L2 in Cloud SQL administration.

• Expert in MS SQL Database administration.

• Expert in Database Replication on Cloud to On-Prem or Cloud to Cloud

• Expert in SQL DB IaaS PaaS troubleshooting and performance tuning.

• Experience in Microsoft SQL Server database backup recovery & restore.

• Experience in SSMS Query Store and SQL Sentry would be a plus.

• Role & Responsibilities 5 years of experience in MS SQL and 2 in MS Cloud SQL Design Architect and Build a cloud-based multi-tenant platform hosted on Azure.

• Configure and maintain database servers and processes including monitoring of system health and performance to ensure high levels of performance availability and security. Ability to identify and troubleshoot SQL Server issues related to CPU memory I/O disk space

• Strong experience on log shipping mirroring and replication AOAG.

• Configure implement and troubleshoot DTS SSIS and SSRS packages

• performance tuning and troubleshooting experience

• Experience windows administration on database activities
