Who are we looking for

At HugoHub were looking for a Motion Designer to join our forward-thinking inquisitive 15-member Design team. Someone who blends marketing flair with UI craftsmanship and who can craft captivating visual stories for campaigns and elevate our product experience through thoughtful motion in UI. Youll work closely with the brand marketing and product design teams to create visuals that engage inspire and inform.
The team plays a critical role covering areas such as user research user experience and interface design branding visual design animation and motion graphics. We believe the following qualities are important for someone in this position:

How will you contribute to HugoHub

Youll collaborate with Product Managers marketing team fellow UX and UI designers to:

• Create motion graphics and animation for marketing campaigns product videos and social media content.

• Develop on-brand animations and micro-interactions for websites and app UI.

• Translate complex financial and technology concepts into clear compelling visual stories.

• Collaborate closely with designers product managers and marketing managers to maintain design consistency across visual touch points.

• Contribute to the evolution of each brands visual language through motion setting new standards for digital storytelling.

• Support video post-production (editing compositing sound syncing and motion enhancement).

• Experiment with emerging motion trends 3D animation and interaction design to keep our visuals fresh and forward-looking.

• Develop and maintain a motion design system defining principles for timing easing transitions and interaction states.

Must have skills

• Familiarity with common design tools such as After Effects Premiere Pro Figma Blender Krita or other relevant softwares.

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Design Animation or related field (preferred).

• An approach of using First Principles for solving problems simple or complex.

• Ability to ideate and empathise to create impactful designs.

• Strong foundation in animation basics principles and storyboarding.

• Familiarity with keyframing lighting rendering compositing animatics and timelines.

• Understanding of the foley music screenplay and camera movement.

• Experience in creating UI motion and micro-interactions.

• Comfort with articulating your thoughts to communicate within and across teams.

Good to have skills

• Experience with 3D animation or 3D motion design tools.

• Exploration of materials textures and lighting to enhance motion storytelling.
