Job Description:

Retrieve and review patient medical records from client EMR systems.

Analyze clinical documentation for completeness and coding compliance.

Assign and validate ICD-10-CM diagnosis codes CPT procedure codes HCPCS codes and applicable modifiers.

Ensure coding accuracy while adhering to coding guidelines payer requirements and client-specific protocols.

Review provider documentation dates of service orders signatures and supporting clinical records.

Identify documentation deficiencies and communicate coding-related queries appropriately.

Maintain productivity and quality standards as defined by the organization and client.

Stay updated with industry regulations coding updates and compliance requirements.

Maintain active coding credentials through CEU submissions and certification renewals.

Collaborate effectively with team members and contribute to a positive work environment.

Demonstrate a customer-centric approach while supporting client deliverables and business objectives.
