This position reports to a Engineering Manager/Team Leader and is part of the Energy Global Process Engineering team located in Pune India and will be an on-site role.

In this role you will have the opportunity to:

• Produce engineering documentation (on time to budget and of suitable quality) to support requests for quotes customer orders manufacturing suppliers etc. such as drawings calculations data sheets and procedures which meets customer specifications current legislation and the Pall Quality Management System.
• Work as part of a cross functional team designing and detailing products ensuring safety reliability robustness and functionality which is easy to manufacture operate and maintain.
• Provide manufacturing support to ensure factories have consistent output quality and costs.
• Participate in and lead technical clarification meetings with other groups at Pall as well as customers and suppliers.
• Participate in and lead troubleshooting and problem-solving activities with customers suppliers on product technical issues.
• Through a process of continuous improvement and VAVE develop the processes and products across all disciplines so that time and cost can be optimized whilst still ensuring a robust and effective process and products

The essential requirements of the job include:

• B.E/ (Mechanical or Insdustrial).
• Minimum years of work experience required is 4-6 years in the relevant areas preferred design experience.
• Good understanding of mechanical design principals relating to pressure vessels/housing ASME codes and standard and other international standards
• Hands-on experience on PV elite software and process systems as per international standards.
• Good knowledge of major manufacturing processes including welding machining forming molding/ casting and sealing mechanisms.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Very good communication (English).

Travel Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

• Ability to travel 20 % travel overnight within territory or locations
• Must have a valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Minimum 3-5 years experience in design of filtration and pressure vessels/housings products or equivalent.
