Job Summary
- Detailed engineering of Compressor packages and its auxiliaries in accordance with the international standards like API ISO ASME etc.
- Equipment sizing selection and detailed engineering of compressor support systems in accordance with the latest API Standards (main & auxiliary drivers heat exchangers seal gas heaters lube oil pumps instruments gages surge control valves and systems etc.)
- Preparation of technical documentation such as P&ID Datasheets GA Drawings other customer facing documents etc.
- Preparation of RFQ and evaluation of vendor offers for compressor package auxiliaries like lube oil systems dry gas seal systems pressure vessels control valves filters etc.
- Creation of part numbers in ERP system and generation of Bill of Materials.
- Conduct design reviews identify risks and provide recommendations.
- Conduct meetings with Customer and Suppliers as and when needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited institution
- 3 years of relevant experience in mechanical rotating equipment engineering
- Working knowledge of rotating equipment like compressors pumps turbines etc. and auxiliary support systems like dry gas seal systems lube oil systems heat exchangers pressure vessels valves filters etc.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of applicable industry standards (API-AGMA NACE etc.)
- Familiarity with engineering documentation and design standards
- Excellent team player.
- Good verbal & written communication skills
- Hands on experience with ERP system and Teamcenter will be
- Self-motivated and highly organized
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
- Innovative mindset with a passion for technology and continuous learning
