Job Summary

The MDM Analyst at NIQ enhances our Master Data team in Global Finance Operations. This role is pivotal in managing andmaintainingthe integrity of master data(customer vendor material & finance)within our financial systems. As a Master Analyst you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy completeness and consistency ofmaster datainformationfacilitatingsmooth and efficient processes. This position demandsa high levelof attention to detail strong analytical capabilities and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams to support the organizations financial operations and strategicobjectives. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Master Data Management: Oversee the maintenance and integrity of master data in financial systems ensuring accuracy completeness and compliance with internal policies and external regulations. Manage andmaintainthe master data within the financial systems ensuring all information is up-to-date andaccurate. 

  • Data Verification and Validation: Conduct thorough reviews and validation of vendor information including contact details payment terms and banking information to prevent errors and ensure compliance with financial and tax regulations. Perform data analysis and validation toidentifyand resolve any discrepancies or inconsistencies in vendor data. 

  • Process Improvement:Identifyand implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness ofmasterdata management practices. Support the creation modification and retirement of recordsin accordance withcompany policies and procedures. 

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with procurement accounts payable and other finance teams to resolve any discrepancies and support seamless financial operations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with vendor onboarding and due diligence processes. 

  • Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with internal controls and external regulations related to vendor management. Prepare and analyze reports onmasterdata metrics for management review. Monitor and analyzemasterdata qualityidentifyingand resolving dataissuesand inconsistencies. 

  • Project Participation:Participatein finance projects including system upgrades and implementationsimpactingmaster data. 

  • Shouldbe well versed withmultiple master data domainsand support the team as and whenrequired. 

  • Audit Support: Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations related to master data. 


Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree inEngineeringFinance Accounting Business Administration ora relatedfield. 

  • Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in master data management 

  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in managing large sets of data. 

  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability toidentifydiscrepancies and inconsistencies in data. 

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external vendors. 

  • Process Improvement Mindset:Demonstratedexperience inidentifyingand implementing process improvements in data management or financial processes. 

  • Technical Proficiency:Proficiencyin financial systems and ERP software particularly in modules related to vendor management. Advanced Excel skills are highly desirable. 

  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with cross-functional departments to achieve businessobjectives.

Shift Timing : 12:30 PM to 9:30 PM.
