Description

Honeywell is seeking a highly motivated Material Management Specialist II to manage end-to-end material planning and inventory execution ensuring uninterrupted production through proactive supply risk management inventory optimization and cross-functional collaboration. The role is responsible for maintaining material availability improving inventory health driving supplier performance and supporting operational excellence across the supply chain.



Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Good Knowledge of SAP MM Module
  • Knowledge and Hands on experience in Rapid Response (Kinaxis) Supply Planning Module Power BI and tableau.
  • Ensure material availability to support the Master Production Schedule (MPS)through effective planning and execution in SAP.
  • Monitor material coverage identify supply risks and drive timely mitigation to prevent production disruptions.
  • Execute Material Requirements Planning (MRP) activities including conversion of planned orders to PRs while ensuring timely conversion of PRs into POs.
  • Track supplier acknowledgements PO confirmations delivery commitments and past due orders while driving timely escalations.
  • Conduct daily and weekly material reviews with Procurement Logistics and Production Planning to align supply with demand.
  • Develop maintain and continuously improve the Plan for Every Part (PFEP) database to ensure accurate material planning and inventory management.
  • Review validate and optimize raw material safety stock levels inventory parameters coverage profiles and planning master data in accordance with Global Design Manual (GDM) standards including NPI
  • Drive inventory optimization initiatives to reduce excess obsolete inventory (IOS) and improve inventory performance.
  • Monitor Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) health collaborated with Procurement on recovery actions and improved supplier inventory performance.
  • Support SIOP RCCP SIOE NPI and Engineering Change (ECN) activities to ensure smooth material execution.
  • Analyze demand inventory and supplier performance to identify risks and recommend corrective actions.
  • Develop material planning reports dashboards and KPIs to support operational decision-making.



Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelors degree in supply chain management Operations Industrial Engineering Business or a related discipline.
  • Min 8 years of experience in Material Planning Materials Management Supply Planning Inventory Planning or Production Planning.
  • Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving and data interpretation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
  • Knowledge of MRP Inventory Management SIOP RCCP and supply planning processes.
  • Experience with inventory optimization supplier collaboration and materials execution.
