Whats the job
We are looking for a detail-oriented Comms Builder to join Payoneers AI Growth & Business Technology organisation. This is a hands-on execution-focused role: you will build the operational and transactional communications that keep our customers informed compliant and engaged covering critical moments like compliance notices risk alerts account actions and product updates.
You will work inside Braze Payoneers customer engagement platform building campaigns and multi-step journeys across email push WhatsApp SMS and in-app channels. As part of our BizTech Ops team You will partner closely with Life Cycle Marketing team who define strategy
What Youll Do
Campaign & Canvas Build
- Build end-to-end campaigns and multi-step Canvas journeys in Braze across email push WhatsApp SMS and in-app channels.
- Configure message variants apply entry and exit rules and set up audience targeting and trigger conditions based on briefs provided by the strategy team.
- Apply Liquid personalization conditional logic and Connected Content to create dynamic compliance-driven messages that respond to user attributes and real-time data.
- Work within approved email base layouts and design templates maintained by the BizTech Ops team.
- Apply and enforce Braze naming conventions tagging standards and asset categorization on every campaign and Canvas - mandatory for governance and reporting.
- Work with AI in Braze to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
Data & Audience Validation
- Validate audience segment logic - including include/exclude filters and test vs control splits - before every handoff.
- Confirm segment sizes match expected populations and flag anomalies before build completion.
- Verify all required user attributes are correctly mapped and present in the data layer - including identifiers locale product flags and cohort assignments.
Content Quality & Localisation
- Verify that all copy is approved Liquid variables render correctly and fallback values are set for every personalisation token.
- Confirm localisation is complete across all required markets and validate special characters encoding and formatting for each locale.
- Run device dark mode and RTL rendering checks where applicable before handoff.
- Confirm UTM parameters and tracking links are consistent and correctly formatted.
Handoff & Collaboration
- Complete the full pre-handoff build checklist - covering naming content data rendering and channel-specific items - before submitting campaigns for QA.
- Respond promptly to QA feedback from BizTech Ops and rework builds in Braze.
- Collaborate with LCM Planners to understand brief intent and translate strategy into accurate Braze builds.
- Flag ambiguities data issues or template gaps to the relevant owner early dont wait for QA to surface them.
Who You Are
Required
- 2 year of hands-on experience building customer communications in Braze.
- Braze certificate L3 Technical Expert L2 Mktg Specialist L1 Practitioner
- Practical experience building multi-step journeys or Canvas flows not just single-send campaigns.
- Working knowledge of Liquid templating for personalization conditionals and fallback logic.
- Solid understanding of audience segmentation entry/exit criteria and user attribute mapping.
- Experience building across multiple channels - email is the baseline; experience with push WhatsApp SMS or in-app is a strong plus.
- High attention to detail: you complete checklists follow naming conventions and catch errors before they reach QA.
- Clear written communication in English - you will work daily with remote colleagues across multiple time zones.
- Ability to manage your own workload meet deadlines and flag blockers proactively.
- Working knowledge of subscription management and frequency capping subscription groups and states - to keep operational and compliance messaging opt-in compliant.
- Familiarity with the Braze data model - standard and custom attributes custom events and event properties -and how they drive segmentation and personalization.
Advantage
- Experience specifically with operational transactional or compliance-driven communications not just marketing or promotional messages.
- Familiarity with Connected Content or dynamic content pulled from external APIs or data sources.
- Experience setting up A/B or multivariate test variants within campaigns or Canvases.
- Understanding of email deliverability best practices (sender reputation suppression lists bounce handling).
- Background in fintech payments or a regulated industry where accuracy and compliance carry real consequences.
- Working knowledge of the Braze REST API and API-triggered campaigns.
- Familiarity with Braze data ingestion and export methods - SDK Cloud Data Ingestion and Currents.
