Manufacturing Engineer Equipment Maintenance

Own the maintenance and reliability of approximately 40 production machines within the Tube Loading Facility (TLF).
Plan schedule and execute preventive maintenance activities to maximize equipment availability and reliability.
Diagnose equipment failures and perform breakdown troubleshooting to restore production quickly and safely.
Support the installation qualification commissioning and validation of new manufacturing equipment.
Monitor equipment performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives to achieve and sustain greater than 95% machine uptime.
Collaborate closely with maintenance technicians by providing technical guidance coaching and problem-solving support.
Identify opportunities for equipment upgrades process improvements and reliability enhancements.
Support Lean manufacturing initiatives that improve operational efficiency and equipment performance.
Ensure compliance with all Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) requirements and departmental standards.
Maintain accurate maintenance documentation equipment history and technical records.
Learn and support specialized manufacturing equipment through technical documentation engineering drawings and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering Mechatronics Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
3 years of experience in equipment maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
Hands-on experience with preventive maintenance breakdown maintenance and maintenance planning.
Strong troubleshooting skills across electro-mechanical manufacturing equipment.
Working knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC).
Experience supporting industrial equipment such as vacuum systems furnaces heat-treatment equipment welding systems Special Purpose Machines (SPMs) motors or similar manufacturing equipment.
Ability to interpret technical manuals electrical schematics and engineering documentation to diagnose and resolve equipment issues.
Strong commitment to equipment safety reliability and continuous improvement.
Exposure to SCADA and/or LabVIEW systems.
Experience with equipment qualification commissioning or implementation projects.
Knowledge of temperature-control systems sensors limit switches induction motors or oil-heating systems.
Strong analytical and root cause problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with technicians and cross-functional teams.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Continuous improvement mindset with experience supporting Lean manufacturing initiatives.
