We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role ofManager - Trustee and Fiduciary Services.
In this role you will:
- Build and maintain strong knowledge of fiduciary administrative tasks staying current with onshore jurisdiction procedure changes.
- Design and analyse MI requirements and tracking mechanisms to reflect current activities and measure team performance accurately.
- Ensure business data requirements are completed correctly with statistics/reports/returns delivered to management within agreed timelines.
- Drive process standardisation by sharing best practices to improve cost effectiveness and operational efficiency.
- Set monitor and achieve productivity and quality targets to optimise resourcing and meet customer SLAs.
- Lead customer-centric quality campaigns proactively identifying issues resolving root causes and preventing recurrence through corrective actions.
- Act as the first escalation point for business partners maintaining strong relationships and identifying service improvement opportunities.
- Ensure client packs/valuations are delivered on time and to quality standards with additional focus on priority/strategic clients.
- Strengthen operational controls by establishing checkpoints reviewing exceptions/errors implementing procedural changes and completing risk assessments/BCP reviews.
- Maintain HSBC control standards by implementing audit/regulatory actions promptly ensuring procedures are followed resolving complex queries and supporting AVP/senior admin duties (work allocation strategies peer checking training and succession/cross-training).
To be successful you will:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or a recognised accounting/finance qualification; additional industry certifications preferred.
- 35 years relevant Funds Administration/Fund Accounting experience.
- Strong understanding of the end-to-end Fund Accounting model including NAV calculation and GAVNAV activities.
- Complete understanding of the Trade Life Cycle and how it impacts fund operations.
- Excellent knowledge of Capital Markets and a broad range of financial instruments including derivatives.
- Strong accounting fundamentals and expert-level accounting knowledge including NAV reconciliation.
- Proven ability to monitor manage and deliver against operational goals and deadlines with effective time management and multitasking.
- High attention to detail with strong analytical skills to identify issues and drive accurate outcomes.
- Ability to update manage and analyse MI (Management Information) to support performance tracking and decision-making.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills able to build effective cross-department/jurisdiction relationships; experience in A&V/IFS/GTFS and strong MS Office skills are advantageous with behaviours aligned to HSBC values.
