DESCRIPTION:
Join our facilities team at Thermo Fisher Scientific and contribute to groundbreaking scientific discoveries. As a Facilities Team Leader youll supervise and coordinate activities related to facility services equipment and utility operations EHS Equipment maintenance and breakdown building maintenance etc and . Youll guide a team ensuring our facilities maintain the highest standards of cleanliness safety and operational excellence. This role supports our mission to enable customers to make the world healthier cleaner and safer.
Working in both cleanroom and general facility environments youll oversee daily operations including maintenance safety systems and regulatory compliance. Youll implement continuous improvement initiatives while managing vendor relationships and maintaining quality standards. This position offers growth opportunities in a collaborative culture that values innovation and professional development.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors Engineering in Mechanical/Instrumentation & control or equivalent Degree8 years in pharma/equivalent engineering experience including 3 years in EHS management

Preferred Fields of Study: Mechanical/Instrumentation & control Engineering or Equivalent field
Proficiency in AutoCAD for developing and updating engineering drawings P&IDs layouts
Experience in operation maintenance troubleshooting and breakdown handling of Equipment like HVAC AHUs chillers pumps cooling towers air compressors DG sets transformers and HT/LT panel Water plant Cold room Freezer room Deep freezer etc
Experience with BMS DDC PLC HMI SCADA sensors instrumentation automation and calibration/certification.
Experience in commissioning qualification and validation (IQ/OQ/PQ) and GMP engineering documentation EDMS etc
Ability to develop/review SOPs preventive maintenance procedures specifications P&IDs drawings and technical documents.
GMP compliance and statutory requirements
TrackWise Change Controls Deviations CAPAs investigations and applicable regulatory requirements.
Demonstrated experience leading site-level EHS programs and ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory and corporate requirements.
Experience with fire alarm systems detectors/sensors fire hydrants fire pumps and other safety equipment.
Knowledge and experience of safety protocols regulatory requirements incident prevention and safe work practices.
EHS work covering occupational safety environmental compliance chemical/hazardous material handling waste management emergency preparedness contractor safety and risk assessment.
Experience managing EHS KPIs ISO audits incident investigations corrective actions and continuous improvement with the ability to promote a strong safety culture.
Site level project execution contractor/vendor coordination.
Problem-solving decision-making leadership and communication skills
