Purpose of the position
Drive Sales activity and achieve set KRAs and GP / Volumes in respective branch pertaining to the assigned territory.
In charge of the overall local Sales activity of DSV Air and Sea Pvt Ltd for the Respective Territory and attain expected sales results individually and along with the team.
Responsible to lead the Sales team who would be responsible to develop the territory.
To set parameters with performance levels for individual team members and to monitor them to attain the set standards.
Create and nurture team spirit within the Sales team and with other team members of the Company.
Drive the Sales team to create a Vibrant Brand Image of the Company and manifest the Brand Values of DSV with its Customers and other stakeholders in the day to day interaction with them.
Achieve set targets and objectives for assigned trade lane. Any other task assigned by the management.
Key Tasks
Business Development
To set KPIS for the Sales team in accordance with the Company objectives with a holistic approach with measurable parameters.
To guide individual team members towards achieving the set KPIS and monitor the same.
To interact with Trade lane/IV managers offices and update them of local market situation in terms of Competition Rate levels Service requirements of customers Carrier service levels at the Location and any other new developments which affects business to drive the development of target trade lanes in the branch.
To generate business for the company in aligned territory and generate business from respective trade lanes and verticals.
To facilitate team members to generate business by making joint calls with them.
Preparation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)/IOP in collaboration with internal stake holders and lead the account transition through a coordinated implementation with stake holders
To ensure a mutually signed-off SOP is in place between client and organization within 15 days of account on boarding.

Skills & Competencies
Market knowledge of Logistics industry.
Strong relationship with Customers in the Respective region.
Should have team building and leadership qualities.
Should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Should be a motivator and trouble shooter.
Educational background / Work experience
7-10 years of Experience in the Logistics Industry with 2-3 years of Managerial experience.
Should be a Graduate and Preferably with a masters degree in Logistics and Marketing
Language Skills
Fluent in English (written and spoken)
Other languages (written and spoken) preferred
Computer Literacy
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Software (Excel Word PowerPoint and others)
Good knowledge of Customer Relationship Management tools Microsoft Dynamic Tools
