Job Description:

Technical Expertise: Proficiency in COBOL JCL DB2 VSAM MVS Endeavor TSO CICS Control-M and basic IBM utilities.
Analyze intricate mainframe programs identify bottlenecks and optimize performance.
Production Support: Maintain systems in the mainframe environment.
Handle production incidents promptly and effectively.
Agile Collaboration: Work closely with product owners to align with the product roadmap.
Facilitate agile events (sprint planning daily stand-ups retrospectives).
Metrics and Transparency: Maintain performance metrics (e.g. burn-down charts) for transparency.
Coordinate efforts across teams to deliver integrated solutions.
Root Cause Analysis: investigate incidents thoroughly providing root cause analysis.
Initiate performance improvements based on batch cycle trends.
