Job Summary
Role Purpose
This role is intended for a specialized export logistics professional The Logistics Executive will be responsible for end-to-end export execution of engineering goods and equipment with strong hands-on exposure to export documentation Incoterms customs clearance and coordination with multiple external agencies.
Key Responsibilities - Export Operations
- Manage end to end export logistics for engineering goods machinery fabricated items and project equipment.
- Handle exports to Africa Middle East Europe or other international markets.
- Plan shipments based on cargo nature (breakbulk / containerized / ODC) and project timelines.
Incoterms & Commercial Understanding
- Execute shipments as per agreed Incoterms (EXW FOB CIF CFR DAP etc.).
- Ensure correct allocation of cost risk and responsibility.
Export Documentation
- Commercial Invoice and Packing List (including dimensions and weights).
- Shipping Bill Bill of Lading / AWB.
- Certificate of Origin / GSP and insurance documents.
- Ensure documentation accuracy and compliance.
Customs & External Coordination
- Liaise with Customs Clearing Agents (CHA) for clearance activities.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders shipping lines cargo companies and transporters.
- Resolve customs queries and clearance issues.
Shipment Execution & Tracking
- Monitor cargo movement from factory to port and shipment departure.
- Provide shipment status updates to stakeholders.
Compliance & Improvement
- Ensure compliance with export regulations DGFT norms and internal SOPs.
- Propose process improvements for efficiency and standardization.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- 10-12 years in export logistics of engineering goods or equipment.
- Exposure to Africa Middle East or Europe exports.
- Graduation in Logistics Supply Chain Engineering or related field.

- Ability to handle complex and timecritical shipments.
